The Producers comes from Deep In The Weeds, Australia’s leading food podcast network. Listen to find out where your food comes from. Food journalist hosts Dani Valent and Anthony Huckstep share the stories of farmers and food artisans.

Dani Valent is a journalist, restaurant critic, cookbook author, travel writer and screenwriter. She loves telling stories! Her professional writing career started with travel publisher Lonely Planet and she’s continued to thread food and travel through a writing career that’s included interviews with actors, politicians and even an astronaut. These days, she’s focusing on chefs, restaurants and cooking. if it’s tasty, she wants to know about it, and she wants you to know too.

Known in the industry as Huck, Anthony Huckstep is an award-winning journalist, restaurant critic and cookbook author who constantly threatens the final notch on his belt in the name of a good story. Huck is the co-founder of MetalMouth, a dinner that deconstructs the heavy metal and fine dining contradiction by celebrating the beauty of both.
