Who We Are
Deep in the Weeds is Australia’s leading food, drink and travel podcast network with an audience comprising the most engaged and influential food audience in Australia and around the world.
Launched in 2020 by food journalist Anthony Huckstep and leading audio producer Rob Locke, the founding podcast sprang from the pandemic crisis. The food and hospitality worlds were rocked as no other. Deep in the Weeds became their voice: urgent, intimate, necessary.
It quickly became apparent that the food world rejoiced in telling its own stories: unfiltered, raw, real, inspiring and supportive. The podcast network quickly expanded and now includes six shows, each tackling a different aspect of the food world. The current roster comprises Deep in the Weeds, Dirty Linen, The Producers, Over a Glass, Fishtales and The Crackling – with more in the works.
Deep in the Weeds gathers around it the most influential voices in food and as such has been identified by brands as a compelling partner for sharing relevant product narratives. Our partnerships are always cogent: an amplification that makes sense for our highly engaged audiences.
